If one word could define a year in Vallejo’s real estate market, I think “Ouch!” comes pretty close to doing the job. The Vallejo single family residence chart shows declines at every pricing range consistently throughout the year. I looked in vain for small upturns or recoveries. Around the rest of the North Bay the REO market has solidified and values seem to be holding. It will be nice to see Vallejo find its footing for bank owned properties soon.
